"LONGEVITY BONUSES" : Did you know that if you live in Alaska and turn 65, the state would pay you a "Longevity Bonus" of $150? Other states offer special tax benefits or refunds. Contact your State Department on Aging.
DON'T HAVE A SET OF WHEELS? Many localities offer free or reduced fares to people 65 or older. Some even offer pick-up services to the nearest bus stop. Call your local public transit system for more information.
HUNTING AND FISHING LICENSES: Most states offer these free of charge to people 65 and older. Contact your State Department on Aging for more information.
ADMISSION TO STATE PARKS: Most states waive the entrance fee to state parks for senior citizens. Contact the park for your State Department on Aging for details.
